Katia Abboud Latest position in ORYX GTL

Since December 2011. Katia Abboud was appointed Acting Public Relations and Communications Manager at ORYX GTL. Her role encompasses

  • Departmental business planning
  • Budgeting; conducting, 
  • Monitoring and reviewing all PR and media activities,
  • Advertising, events,
  • Exhibitions and conferences, sponsorship
  • Corporate Social Responsibility campaigns, as well as internal communications.
Katia abboud joined ORYX GTL in 2009 as Events and Media coordinator, being promoted to Head of Public Relations in 2010, developing and enhancing PRC standards, policies and procedures. Under her stewardship the Company’s corporate identity was refined; a new corporate website developed; the annual advertising campaign was coordinated, designed and implemented; and production of in-house corporate and events publications, including ORYX GTL magazine, were managed  
Besides handling ORYX GTL’s stakeholder relations, Katia has conducted internal and external social and community-orientated events; and has promoted the Company’s image via local and international conferences and exhibitions. Notably she supported Doha's bid for the National Gas Conversion Symposium 2013 (NGCS), and is a local committee member.
